AOMUSIC

For many years. I've been involved with an interesting world music project as co-writer and co-producer of a unique music style that amalgamates the essence of many different cultures around the world. Starting with a core rhythm groove, indigenous percussion samples are used to create a unique rhythmic sound and feel, then organic(ish) synth pad textures are then layered over the top creating a rich mixture of sounds, indicative of not just one world culture, but a simultaneity of many. My long time friend and visionary Richard Gannaway and myself compose and produce song templates, then vocal melodies and arrangements are composed and performed by the brilliant Miriam Stockley (of Adiemus fame). As a final touch, we add an amazing essence of purity collected from the recordings of children's choirs from around the world. A very unique project, with tons of heart, spirit, and pure joy.
